A good friend of mine is getting ready to meet her first baby and asked me to help her create a cloth diaper gift registry at Mom’s Milk Boutique… oh what fun!! I seriously had a blast helping her put together an awesome stash that included a wide variety of diapers from newborn prefolds to One Size All in Ones! I basically created my dream diaper stash, lol
One diaper in particular that I am excited for her to try is the Swaddlebess Simplex All-In-One Newborn Diaper. It is designed to fit babies 6 – 16 lbs. (waist from 9-19″, thighs 3.5-10″, with a 12″ rise) and comes in ADORABLE prints!! Mamas of newborns will LOVE that the front of the diaper can be snapped down to make room for baby’s cord during those first few days/weeks of baby’s life.
Another awesome feature of the diaper is that while it’s technically considered an All in One, there is actually a pocket that opens on both ends to allow for extra layers of absorbency to be added (ie-another insert or a doubler). The pocket design also allows for the insert to work itself out of the diaper from the agitation of the washing machine. I certainly like the idea of NOT having to pull out a messy insert by hand! Additionally the pocket design allows for faster drying time than most All in Ones. I have a feeling my friend is going to LOVE this diaper! 🙂
