What is your favorite Mom’s Milk Boutique Product?
My nursing cover. The comfort it provides me and allows me to nurse in public has been priceless.

Me, Kate. Husband, Matthew. Daughters Elizabeth 3years and Clara 5 months
What is your favorite baby carrier and why?
Moby wrap for the comfort, especially during long stretches of wear.
Describe your cloth diaper stash:
Mostly bumGenius pockets, a few prefolds and covers with snappies instead of pins, and one great kissaluvs (wish I had more of these!). With my first, I used prefolds and pins, but that was too hard for my swollen fingers, so I invested in some bumGenius for my 2nd and love, love, love them! I was really scared to do them at first, but can’t believe how much we have saved already. My favorite thing to do is pile the clean, warm, fresh out of the dryer inserts on my face and breathe in!
What has been your toughest challenge as a mom so far?
When I was in college (19 years old) I had a stroke that paralyzed me on my right side. It was from an autoimmune disease I did not know I had called lupus. No one ever thought I would recover as much as I have, so having two kids is way outside of expectations! Being involved with the kids on days my joints are not well (called a flare up). Simple things like zipping a zipper or turning a door knob become very painful. Sometimes it’s a matter of will power to make myself do things that physically hurt. But I remember that we chose to have these beautiful girls knowing my illness and my babies will only be young for a short time and I choose to be there with them.
What are some of your favorite “me” time indulgences?
Massage! I have a membership and make sure I get my monthly massage as a way to take a mental and physical break as well. Also massage is great for relieving back, neck and joint pain that can make daily tasks challenging.
