I recently started using wool dryer balls myself and I am now on a mission to spread the word about wool dryer balls…they are seriously AWESOME! I would consider them an essential laundry item…even if you don’t cloth diaper.

What are they exactly? A wool dryer ball is a ball of felted wool that you place into your dryer while drying your laundry. They help expedite drying time which means you save money on your utility bill by reducing your energy usage! It’s recommended to use several dryer balls at a time…basically the more you add, the less drying time per load. They also reduce static and act as a natural fabric softener in place of harsh chemicals found in dryer sheets.

The FUNKtastic dryer balls come in funky color combinations. Although because they are a handmade item each one is unique in color and size which means you can’t pre-select a color combination. Your unique funky, fun, fresh design will be revealed when you open your package…how cool is that! A surprise can make a package even more fun to open! While the color combination will be a surprise you can select scented or unscented. Four yummy scents are available to choose from:

• Jamaica Me Crazy – Jamaica me crazy begins with top notes of mandarin, Mexican lime, tangerine, and kumquat;  middle and base notes of watermelon, tart green apples, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon.
• Oatmeal, Milk and Honey – The wonderful fresh aroma of hawthorne, with nuances of creamy French vanilla, soy milk and a base note of nutty almond.
• Rain –  A refreshing aroma with hints of lily of the valley, fresh hyacinth, with a top note of wisteria.
• Lavender Vanilla – An even mix of vanilla and lavender

These little balls of wool are so fun and so simple to add into your laundry routine. You can just leave them in the dryer between uses so they are ready to work their magic each time you throw a load of laundry in your dryer. The biggest trick is keeping the wool balls away from your kids or in my case my hubby who thinks they are perfect for juggling. 😉
