I make these often with the kids. They are super easy, yummy, and made with healthy ingredients. My kids really like rolling the balls; it’s like edible play-dough for them. I have played around with this recipe adding various things but this version is our current favorite:
Ingredients
2 cups peanut butter (almond butter could work for those of you that don’t eat peanuts)
2/3 cup maple syrup, honey, or agave
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 cup raisins
3 Tablespoons sesame seeds
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup of cacao nibs or vegan chocolate chips
Pinch of cinnamon
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and set in the fridge for about an hour. Remove from fridge and roll mixture into balls. Combine the following ingredients on a plate and roll balls to coat them.
½ cup of coconut
2 tablespoons hemp seed
Put balls back into fridge for about 30 more minutes before serving. Enjoy!
