2 cups of water
8 strawberries
1 banana
1 handful of spinach
1 teaspoon spirulina
2 tablespoons hemp seed
1/4 cup almonds
1 date
Blend on high for 2 minutes and you’ll have a beautiful, bright green, delicious, kid-friendly smoothies that provides an abundance of rich nutrients for your wee ones!
You can use fresh fruit or frozen fruit. If using fresh fruit, you’ll probably want to throw a few ice cubes in before blending. One quick tip when freezing bananas is to peel them first. Also note that the taste and quality of spirulina can vary greatly. I prefer this brand.
What is your family’s favorite green smoothie recipe?
