All I Ever Needed to Know about Toddlers I Learned from My Dog

(With apologies to Robert Fulghum)

Everything I needed to know about toddlers I learned from my dog

1. Wear them out throughly during the day, or you will pay dearly at bedtime.

2.If it’s quiet, it’s because they are into something.

3. The only person being “trained” during potty training is you.

4. No one likes to sleep alone.

5. Lose the favorite stuffed toy, blanket, or lovie at your own peril.

6. They are so cute dressed up.

7. The only bad attention is no attention.

8. Give them outside time every day.

9. They always seem to know when you need a little extra love.

10.  You just can’t stay mad at them, no matter what.
